After the workshop, your piece will be cast in solid sterling silver, finished, and polished in my studio. Your completed jewelry will be ready for free local pickup in Wichita or shipping in approximately 2-3 weeks.

First workshop? My first workshop was the ring carving workshop on May 30th.
Why did you sign up? I signed up for the free ticket drawing at the Revolutia First Friday event because I thought that it would be fun if I won, as I'm always looking for new craft opportunities I've never tried before.
Favorite part? Getting into the details of how I wanted the ring to look. I love being able to hyper-focus on the small things.
Tell us about your piece... I made a simple ring with organic cuts and lines through it. It reminds me of rocks that have been slowly eroded by a stream of water, kind of like the Grand Canyon. I wanted it to look very natural.
One word to describe the experience? Rewarding
Would you recommend it? I would highly recommend this class to anyone who likes working with their hands and really focusing on those fine details. I would also recommend it to anyone who has a hard time finding rings that either fit their style or fit their hands. I've had both of these issues with rings, and being able to make one that fits me exactly in both size and style was really special.

Favorite part? Being able to just zone in, get creative, and learn new skills.
Tell us about your piece... I made a "Jesus fish." I wanted to incorporate my faith into the piece since I would be wearing it every day. I added tiny hearts and flowers as well because of whimsy.
