MEET THE MAKER
Hi, I’m April—the maker behind Wild Sunflower Silver. I’m a small business owner and jewelry designer based in the beautiful sunflower state of Kansas. The wild, golden sunflowers here never fail to inspire me—they symbolize goodness, truth, and timelessness, values I strive to carry into my daily life and into every piece of jewelry I create.
The Art of Lost Wax Casting in Our Jewelry
Wax Modeling
Each original piece I create begins with a hand-sculpted wax model, carefully shaped before being cast in .925 sterling silver.
Lost Wax Casting
Molten silver fills the mold left by the wax, capturing every fine detail to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.
Final Touches
The piece is then sanded, polished, and the stones are carefully set by hand, unless they were cast in place.
