Wild Sunflower Silver Workshop Policies & Non-Negotiables

1. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All sales are final.
  • You may transfer your spot to a friend if you notify me at least 24 hours before class.
  • If I must cancel, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to move to a future class.

2. Finished Pieces & Turnaround

  • Your wax will be cast and polished after class. Please allow 2–3 weeks for pickup or shipping.
  • Each piece is handmade and may have subtle variations.

3. Casting & Design Limitations

  • Occasionally, a wax may break, or a casting may not turn out perfectly. This is part of the handmade process.
  • Delicate or intricate designs may not survive casting exactly as carved. In such cases, you may choose:
  • Simplified Version: You’ll personalize one of my existing designs—making thoughtful modifications so it truly feels like your own—or choose from a selection of ready-to-cast designs.
  • Future Credit: Apply the value toward a future workshop or custom piece.
  • Partial Materials Credit: For rare situations where neither option works.

4. Studio Safety

  • Wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
  • No open flames or chemicals handled by students — I handle all casting on-site.
  • Please avoid bringing unregistered guests or children.

5. Age Requirement

  • Adults (18+) are welcome. Teens 14–17 may attend with a participating adult.

6. Accessibility

  • The workshop space is located in my home studio. I do have two small dogs; they are friendly and may come in to say hi. Contact me for accessibility needs.

7. Late Arrivals

  • Class starts promptly; late arrivals may need to keep pace with the group.

8. Liability / Safety Reminder

  • By registering, you acknowledge that jewelry-making involves hand tools and agree to follow safety instructions.

9. Photos & Social Media

  • I may share class photos/videos unless you opt out before class.
